Ansjs A001 bicycle pedals are made of durable 6061 aluminum alloy and the outside is anodized with a premium, abrasion and oxidation resistant coating. Lightweight and ergonomic; each pedal weighs only 175 grams and measures 121×110×17.5mm. Thanks to the thin, flattened profile, the pedals have a reduced windage, which has a positive effect on the resistance to the oncoming air flow while driving. 🚴💨 Each pedal has 12 studs (6 studs on each side) to improve grip. The pins are made in the form of screws and are screwed in with a thread. Included with the pedals came 3 spare screws - thorns.

The shaft, according to the manufacturer, is made of high-alloy, chromium-molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo), has excellent corrosion resistance and is able to withstand high loads during vibration and rotation. Inside the pedal housings there are 3 factory-made ball bearings. To get to the bearings, it is necessary to unscrew the metal plug from the outside with a 5.5 mm hexagon wrench, and then the nut holding the pedal on the shaft. There is lubrication in the products, the manufacturer did not regret it. ⚙️👍

The pedal pivots end with a standard 9/16 "or 14.29 mm stem that does not have #15 wrench flats. Therefore, the threaded stem in the connecting rod bore is hex screwed in from the opposite side of the connecting rod. Thanks to the standard unified thread, the #pedals are compatible with almost all modern bicycles. 🚴

Since the left-hand pedal has a left-hand thread and the right-hand one is standard, the manufacturer took care that we did not confuse them during installation. The pedal bodies are marked with a capital "L" for the left pedal and an "R" for the right.

A set of pedals comes in a branded cardboard box, which indicates the technical characteristics of the product. Delivery to Ukraine, despite the quarantine restrictions, was short-lived - only 3 weeks. The box is slightly wrinkled on the outside, but the metal pedals came in one piece.

As a result, I can say that the pedals are very cool. Lightweight, solid, ergonomic. After "changing shoes" for review, my "iron horse" flatly refused to return to the old plastic pedals. Therefore, I had to fulfill the desire of the "mechanical friend" and leave him new ones. 🚲

As for my opinion, purely subjectively, I can say that I liked the model from Ansjs: it is much stronger and more ergonomic than the default pedals, has a more modern appearance and better grip on the sole of the shoe.
