Discretizing One Dimensional (1D) Diffusion Equation | Lecture 4 | ICFDM
In this video, we dive a little deeper into as to how we can discretize a second order differential equation and iterate (evolve) the solution on a one-dimensional domain. This should lay some foundation for the lectures to come. This lecture also forms a per-requisite for the next one in which we would be using MATLAB to solve the same problem.
