Kepa MISTAKE! Christensen SILLY Red Card! Lampard POOR In-Game Management! | Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool

On the bounce of a 3-1 win away at Brighton last Monday, Chelsea took on Premier League champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge and everything went wrong for Chelsea. Frank Lampard's side could not find a way through Liverpool for the majority of the first half till Andreas Christensen brought Sadio Mane down as the last man and got a red card for it leaving Chelsea down to 10 men. Sadio Mane pounced as 10 men Chelsea couldn't contain Liverpool's slick football into the Chelsea box and Mane got a clean header through to make it 1-0. Tomori passing the ball to Kepa under pressure made Kepa pass the ball right into Mane's path who slotted it into an open net to make it 2-0 and will cement the decision made by Chelsea to bring in new signing Edouard Mendy next week. Frank Lampard was unable to win the tactical battle and naive decisions allowed Liverpool to gain total control as Jurgen Klopp brought on new signing Thiago Alcantara at the start of the second half who then went on to register a total of 75 passes in the second half, more passes than any other Chelsea player on the pitch for the entire match. Chelsea will be waiting to get all their new players under way as soon as possible and judging by today against Liverpool, it's very needed.
