Roccacasale colle delle fate

Al Colle delle Fate, un’altura che si trova a circa quaranta minuti di cammino da Roccacasale. Secondo la leggenda, le Fate appartengono ad una specie di “terra di Mezzo”, un limbo tra cielo e terra, ed è per la loro natura, né demoni, né angeli che sono costrette a vivere in zone crepuscolari, come il colle a loro nome. Sempre secondo la leggenda, le fate venivano invitate ad un banchetto speciale per la nascita di ogni nuovo nascituro. Ed è infatti presso il Colle delle Fate che la “vecchia fattucchiara” , passava gran parte della sua giornata. Funghi disposti a cerchio: Secondo la leggenda, quando si trovano dei funghi disposti a cerchio, vuol dire che ci si trova in un “cerchio delle fate”. Qui, infatti le fate danzano ed è assolutamente vietato entrare nel cerchio o si attireranno le ire delle fate. Ed è a questo punto che la leggenda sembra intrecciarsi con la fiaba di Rosaspina. La ricordate? Le fate vennero invitate dal re al banchetto di battesimo, per festeggiare la nascita della loro primogenita… una fata però non venne invitata, e questa, inferocita, lanciò il sortilegio di morte alla piccola Rosaspina. Lo strano “banchetto” della leggenda, ha infatti parecchie similitudini con la fiaba… e che dire del sortilegio? Sembra quasi che storia e fiaba abbiano la stessa matrice. E’ possibile che la vecchia fattucchiera che ha salvato il figlio della “testimone”, in realtà, altri non fosse che l’ultima fata ( quella che ancora non aveva fatto il regalo alla piccola Rosaspina e intervenne “spezzando” il sortilegio della fata che aveva lanciato l’incantesimo?) e che ancora continuava a proteggere i bambini dai malefici? Chissà… Circa poi le “sparizioni e ricomparse”, se vogliamo avvicinarci in storie più recenti… basti pensare alle numerose persone che asseriscono di essere state rapite dagli “alieni” durante il sonno! Eppure, ogni individuo crede fermamente alla propria storia… la testimone crede alle streghe, l’uomo del duemila agli alieni. Chi ha torto e chi ha ragione? Nessuno ed entrambi… forse. O forse la “realtà” non è che il rovescio della medaglia della leggenda… “i nostri pensieri creano e materializzano la realtà in cui crediamo”.

And it is at this point that the legend seems to be intertwined with the fairy tale of Rosaspina. Do you remember her? The fairies were invited by the king to the baptism banquet, to celebrate the birth of their firstborn... one fairy, however, was not invited, and this one, enraged, cast the death spell on little Rosaspina. The strange "banquet" of the legend, in fact, has many similarities with the fairy tale... and what about the spell? It almost seems that history and fairy tale have the same origin. It is possible that the old witch who saved the son of the "witness", in reality, was none other than the last fairy (the one who had not yet given the gift to little Rosaspina and intervened by "breaking" the spell of the fairy who had cast the spell?) and still continued to protect children from evil spells? Who knows... As for the "disappearances and reappearances", if we want to get closer to more recent stories... just think of the numerous people who claim to have been abducted by "aliens" during their sleep! Yet, each individual firmly believes in their own story... the witness believes in witches, the man of the year 2000 in aliens. Who is wrong and who is right? Neither and both… maybe. Or perhaps "reality" is just the flip side of the legend... "our thoughts create and materialize the reality we believe in".
