FATHER, SON ATTACKED WITH KNIFE AT MAPUSA, TWO ARRESTED| Prudent Media Goa

Mapusa police have arrested two Khorlim-Mapusa residents for allegedly assaulting and stabbing two operators and his father at Mapusa bus stand. Victims, Brijesh Shirodkar and his father Chandrakant Shirodkar have sustained injuries on their bodies due to knife attack.

Police have booked both the accused persons for an attempt to murder.

The assailants picked up an argument with the victims and started abusing and assaulting Brijesh and Sameer then attacked him with a sharp knife causing injuries on his face and chest.

When Chandrakant came to his son’s rescue, he too was attacked with the knife by Sameer while Suresh flung him to the ground and as a result, the elderly man sustained head injuries
