This Fusion Snack Will Blow Your Mind! | Schezwan Khandvi Bites #ytshorts #healthysnacks #shorts

Ingredients:

For Khandvi Batter:
• 1 cup gram flour (besan)
• 1 cup sour curd (yogurt)
• 2 cups water
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
• 1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste (optional)

For Filling:
• 2–3 tbsp Schezwan chutney (adjust to taste)
• 2 tbsp grated paneer or processed cheese (optional)
• 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander

For Tempering:
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (til)
• 1–2 green chillies, slit
• A few curry leaves



Instructions:
1. Make the Batter:
• In a mixing bowl, whisk together besan, curd, water, turmeric, salt, and ginger-chilli paste to make a smooth lump-free batter.
2. Cook the Batter:
• Transfer to a non-stick pan and cook on low-medium heat, stirring continuously.
• Cook until it thickens to a spreadable consistency (takes about 6–8 minutes).
3. Spread and Roll:
• Quickly spread the hot mixture thinly on the back of a thali, plate, or parchment paper using a spatula.
• Let it cool for 2–3 minutes.
• Once set, spread Schezwan chutney over it evenly.
• Optionally, sprinkle paneer or cheese and chopped coriander.
• Cut into long strips and roll them tightly into bite-sized spirals.
4. Temper and Garnish:
• Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add sesame seeds, green chillies, and curry leaves.
• Pour the tempering over the khandvi rolls.



Serving Tip:

Serve warm or at room temperature as a fusion party snack or tea-time treat!
