Acclaimed cabaret on the Champs-Elysées, the Lido, opens its doors to its newest best show yet: Paris Merveilles. Situated on the most beautiful avenue to be found anywhere in the world, this legendary stage has a veritable star in its midst: the Ex-Creative Director of the globally renowned Cirque du Soleil, Franco Dragone. It was this very man himself who redesigned this famous spectacle in painstaking detail into the newest and most exciting feast for the senses yet, embellished and enhanced by the expert use of sound, lights and video. It is intended to run for another 10 years, judging by the success of previous shows. The theme? ‘An enchanting re-discovery of the Capital through the eyes of a young Parisian girl who becomes the lead dancer in a stage show’ explains the producer. No less than 25 million has been invested in this show, a massive three times more than the amount invested in the previous show, giving the whole theatrical experience a new lease of life. At the very peak of fame in this glamourous arena are the Bluebell Girls, who will be headlining with a number of mind-blowing circus acts, accompanied by Manon, a newfound singing talent with a soupçon of Amy Winehouse, as discovered on the series ‘The Voice’.
