This Chimney Cowl Clicks Into Place?! No Jubilee Clip Needed

In this video, I take a look at a slightly unusual chimney cowl design — a liner-hanging cowl that doesn’t require a traditional jubilee clip to secure the flue liner.
Instead, the liner simply clicks into position, creating a secure connection with minimal effort.
This type of design can make installation quicker and more efficient, particularly when working at height where reducing handling time is always a benefit.
In this video, I demonstrate:
• How this chimney cowl works
• The liner-hanging mechanism
• Differences from standard cowl fittings
• Why design like this can improve installation efficiency
While it’s not the most common type of cowl you’ll come across, it’s a great example of how small innovations can simplify roofing and chimney work.
Watch the full video to see how it works in practice.
