LR3 Discovery 2.7TD Engine Oil Change | The easy way with no mess | Oil drain valves

In todays video Im doing a routine engine oil change on my Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3). I show you how you can make this routine task dead easy and virtually tool free while making zero mess (and who dosen't like a clean shed floor).

The basic items you'll need are :
Oil drain pan - at least 7litres capacity: https://amzn.to/3vwY999

Basic socket set will get you by - heres a brand I would recommend: https://amzn.to/3ue9OJx However for the diesel disco you'll need a 32mm socket for the oil filter housing.

In regards to replacing the drain plug with valves, here are all the ones Im aware of. If you'd like to do this on your LR3 then you'll need a thread size of M14-1.5. Most of these have application guides on their websites so you can match up with nearly any vehicle.
