Should you visit Montenegro in the winter time? Well, if you'd like to avoid the crowds, traffic, and have the beach practically to yourself, then winter time is a great time to go to Montenegro. One wonderful place to stop and visit is the charming town of Sveti Stefan. There's an old pirate island that was turned into a hotel. Right now the hotel is closed but you can still walk around the beaches and promenade. The winter in Montenegro can have rain, but not all days it is raining. We had wonderful weather here that was in the upper 50s in January.
