Most comfortable and safe accommodations to stay when you visit Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

Samarkand - Orient Star Hotel
It’s a little outside of the city center but it is not tucked away in some dingy dark alley. It’s located on the main road. It’s clean, it’s safe, the staff is helpful. Hardly speaks any English but they try their best. Breakfast is decent.

Bukhara - Emir Hotel. This was my favorite. The room was ultra spacious and it was located in the heart of ancient city of the Bukhara. Everything was walking distance. They were very very hospitable. Again no English. But that didn’t matter. I loved the interiors. Felt like living in an old soul. So authentic Uzbek style.

Tashkent - Navroz Hotel. This was the only 5* hotel I stayed at and oh my the breakfast was splendid. What a spread! I could eat for hours. Skip the lunch. Here the staff spoke English. Again a little away from the city center yet, walking distance to the main road to hail a cab for anywhere you wanna go. Loved it.

Beauty about hosting these trips is that “I’ve been there, done that!” I recommend these hotel stays and even intend to repeat some of these during my upcoming Uzbekistan group trip in November 18-24.
