Cause We've Ended As Lovers (head) - Stevie Wonder

I had heard that Jeff Beck was upset because he commissioned the song Superstition from Stevie Wonder but Stevie had such a big hit with the sing that it minimized the impact of Jeff's recording. I heard Stevie then gave him this song which he put on the album Blow by Blow.
The original “Tele-Gib” was a hybrid guitar that started out as a butchered ’59 Fender Telecaster that originally had a slab rosewood fingerboard. Seymour Duncan made this guitar for Jeff Beck and he used it extensively on the album Blow by Blow which for me was a seminal album. My version of it started as a Squire Telecaster that I purchased from Patrick Daily for $150 while in the Navy Band in Hawaii. You can see Seymour's in the Last photo. Mine has the standard Telecaster bridge with through the body tailpiece and a reverse control plate. Many of these guitars have a 2 volume/2 tone control setup which I do not like. I find these to be a little more trebly than Gibsons are even though it has humbuckers that are sampling a larger section of the string than single coil pickup do. Over the years I've gotten a lot of miles out of this guitar. I originally put Seymour Duncan single coil pickups in it and it was Mike Bogart's (Tower of Power & Maynard Ferguson) favorite axe when I was playing with him.
