Nearly 350 potential victims of sexual exploitation and forced labour were rescued as part of Operation Libertad, held from 3 - 9 April 2018 under the INTERPOL Project to Combat Human Trafficking in the Caribbean; 22 individuals have been arrested across 13 countries in the Caribbean, Central and South America in an INTERPOL-coordinated operation targeting human trafficking.
