D-I-Y Board Games: Guess Who

Bring back some childhood memories, and get to know your own family, with today’s D-I-Y game. Can you guess who the mystery person is?

The Director of The Southington Public Library, Kristi Sadowski, put together this fun video on how you can make your own Guess Who Game using people from your life! Though, this tutorial also works with any characters you choose to use-real or imaginary.

This game is perfect for 2 players, or more if you team up.

How to play:
The youngest player goes first.
Using different yes or no questions, each player tries to guess their opponent’s hidden character. Each player can only ask one question per turn.

For example, Player 1 asks, “does your person have blonde hair?”
If yes: the asking player folds down all characters that do not have blonde hair.
If no: the player folds down all the characters that have blonde hair.

Through the process of elimination, players will eventually be able to guess the name of their opponent’s character.
If a player successfully guesses their opponent’s hidden character, they win. If they guess wrong, then they lose.
