Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (PC, 2003) - Videogame Longplay

Inspired by the film, the video game tells the story of Conrad, a young boy who has been tricked by his neighbor, Mr. Quinn, into opening the Cat's big red box of Seussian magic and allowing it to escape into the real world. The Cat must help Conrad and his sister, Sally, return the Seussian magic to the box and retrieve all three pieces of the Crab Lock in order to lock the box for good. Players will also get the unique chance to explore a world beyond the film, as they navigate through rooms of the house that are not seen in the movie.

When I recorded my gameplay video, I did so with a physical laptop from 2005 running Windows XP and a (I believe) a physical copy of the game (burned from the ISO file). I haven't found any way to get this game working on my modern PC running Windows 10. Also a Windows XP virtual machine with VMWare virtualization software didn't work for this game for me..

Included inside my download link is a patch from Gamecopyworld that should in theory remove the SecuROM copy protection from the game.
Although I couldn't get it to work, others might still try this out.
