A camouflage lens coat is an essential item for your super telephoto lens, especially for birds, nature and wildlife. Sony and Canon super telephotos are all white in colour - they were chosen to stand out in the sporting arena (in competition with Nikon ), not in a nature and wildlife environment. Birds respond negatively to white colour.
