Phase 1 was Sainsbury's/Bickerstaffe House, 2 is the Tram Interchange & Holiday Inn. So what's Next at Talbot Gateway? Demolition of The Hop Inn & Phase 3. Plans now on the drawing board, preparing for even more regeneration of this previously neglected bit of Blackpool. Filmed Monday 15 February 2021.

You can't say any other than this area needs a facelift. Thanks to Blackpool Council and partners Muse Developments it's being transformed into new fit-for-purpose public realm. It's a large area and expensive work, so it's taking time to do. But the transformation is incredible.

The Hop Inn is to be partially demolished, along with the properties between 5-31 King Street. In their place will be a new office block for public sector workers, a health centre and dental surgery.
