A few hours before recording this cover, the spring on my right foot pedal broke! Since the bass drum beat for this song is fairly simple, I decided to merely move my high hats to my right side and perform the cover with a slightly different kit setup. It was really strange using my left foot for the bass drum and right foot for the high hat clutch but I'm getting better and hope to one day play ambidextrously.

This song has a nice little groove to it and I added some ghost notes on the snare to keep things interesting. I enjoyed finding parts in the song to place a china hit / fill/ crash hit and generally just personalizing the cover. Audio recorded using my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and edited on Garageband. Video captured using 2 different camera angles and edited on iMovie. Thanks for watching, like and subscribe!
