We started cleaning out the bus and I estimated 10 trash cans it took us 8 and and some big stuff to haul off. I cleaned up the step first and it was rotted through. I knew this already because I seen it from underneath.
I fought it long enough to get the doors open at least.
I felt like a real bus driver.

We cleaned the floor then we pulled up the America carpet to find a blue pad.
We peeled that up to reveal particle board panels. That were probably getting wet for the better part of 30 years.

I am not suprised there are some holes in the floor. I knew that was likely but I wanted to get the carpet all up to prevent it from getting worse. Also see how much was going to need patches.

Its almost 60 years old honestly not that bad considering.

Lynzies uncle lives close and has a bobcat so he came over and helped us unload it safely.

Now its on the ground the paperwork process is in the works and we are starting to locate parts.

I know this is going to be alot of work but its nothing we cant handle.
