Coaches Notes
The objective is nice and neat: do 100 wall balls. But with the chaos of 50 pull ups and 50 power cleans thrown into the mix, it's going to be quite the battle. Keeping your composure will be crucial to hitting the goals for this one. Breathe deeply, relax your face, and redirect negative thoughts every chance you get.
As the goal states, we're looking for you to knock out 30-50 wall balls within the first two minutes. It's likely you only have one med ball, so adjusting your weight may not be an option. Instead, if you're struggling to chip away in sets of at least 10 at a time, consider throwing to a lower target - but hold yourself to it!
When it comes time to work through the 50+50, break these up early and often. Small, repeatable sets - that aren't totally gassing you - will serve you far better than big chunks. Find a rhythm, keep your breaks short, and tap into your gritty mindset. Then, move on to finishing what you started, one rep at a time.
