Cavendish Park Viviani Crash Omnium Track Cycling

Mark Cavendish (31), who said "nothing less than Gold", was involved in a controversial crash in the Omnium (track cycling).

Omnium : Points Race : 109 (of 160) laps to go.
After looking back over his shoulder twice, Cavendish collided with the south korean Park, who was taken to hospital in a neck brace. The collision also brought down the overall race leader and favorite for Gold : Viviani. However, race officials did not disqualify Cavendish.
Some say the collision was unintentional. Others say, by deliberately colliding Park and sending him to Viviani (since the track is sloped inward), the chain-reaction crash was actually a stratagem of Cavendish in order to bring down Viviani, his main rival for the Gold medal ...
