In this video, we show how to clean up an outdoor point cloud using various selection and filtering tools. First, the work area is selected using the polygon selection tool, excluding areas with less definition and point density. Then, the selected points are filtered to remove the noise at the bottom of the cloud, using the selection by elevation tool. The point density is homogenized and redundant and isolated points are hidden, improving the quality of the point cloud. Finally, a clean copy of the point cloud is created, significantly reducing the number of points and facilitating further calculation processes.
