What is the average salary of a phlebotomist? This data is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The salaries do not include overtime, bonuses, benefits, signing bonuses, tips, or commissions. In 2012, the Bureau of Labor Statistics recorded $30,910 as the average base salary. By 2019, average base salaries rose to $36,480. Wages grew by $5,570 (or $795 yearly) from 2012-2019. The estimated 2020 average base salary would be $36,480, using $795 as the average yearly wage increase. If trends were to continue, by 2029, the average base salary would be $44,437.
