Abel Cheah is a 2012 Teach For Malaysia Alumnus who started his career teaching in a semi-rural school in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan for 2 years. Between 2014 and 2016, he was part of the management of Teach For Malaysia, a non-profit that aims to address education inequity in our country, with his last role as the Head of Regions.

Abel is, today, the National Coordinator at Alpha Malaysia. Still an educator at heart, he teaches remedial classes on the weekends and runs a social enterprise called LIFEschool.
