WOLFS LAIR THEN AND NOW, HITLERS WW2 FIELD-HEADQUARTERS

Historian is taking you through a tour of everyone of the many ruins at the complex of Wolf's Lair in East Prussia. Covering their construction and the history of the site. Over 80 buildings were erected, with some of the largest above ground bunkers ever built. Included are all the pertinent war time photos from Wolfsschanze giving an overview of Hitlers days and visits. Over the 4 episodes we will visit first Security zone 1 next 2 and 3 where all the support bunkers and building are opposite Wolf's Lair. Thereafter we will visit and tour Mauerwald where the German Army had its field-headquarters, and finally Himmler's Hochwald.
