E158 - Roz’s Moto Adventure Ride Australia - TAS, Freycinet, Coles Bay, The Hazards, Whitewater Wall

Wednesday 31/3/2021:
This episode of my year long adventure ride around Australia takes me up to day 289 and I’m on the east coast of Tasmania in little Bicheno! After finishing chores, I make tracks on the blacktop down to Coles Bay in the Freycinet NP. I tried to ride up Mount Peter & Paul but with no such luck as the roads were all private roads. I was starting to feel like I was going to leave the area as I love the wild a bit more and I was battling to find any dirt! So I headed down to the jetty to see the beautiful Hazards mountain range and met Shanks, top bloke from QLD! I ride through Honeymoon Bay and hoping it would be dirt, again took the blacktop to the Lighthouse. On the way up I spotted a 4x4 only trail, so checked out the lighthouse and took the trail outto Bluestone Bay! YAY! It was an easy trail to ride but had those huge built up dirt speed bump things which made it a nanna noo noo ride in! WOW what a magical camp at the end of the trail called Whitewater Wall! I did a jaw dropping walk along the cliff tops with SPECtacular views! Just wow! I quickly rode into Bluestone Bay but Whitewater Wall was the winner! So I camped there and walked further south down the stunning cliffs to Little Bluestone Bay where I watched a pod of dolphins in excess of 200+ rounding up a massive school of fish for around 2 hours! Just phenomenal to watch! They herded the school of fish out to sea and then back in again several times, all the while gorging on the fish! Just spectacular! I also met Paulie, Josh, Ari & Stan...4 young rock climbers and joined them in their breathtaking tight rope walk across a big ravine on the cliffs! Just wow! Amazing day, amazing adventure!
