Jerome Elbrycht a grandi à Saint Etienne et a pratiqué le skateboard et le snowboard jusqu'à son accident en 1998, sa vie a changé pour toujours quand il s'est rendu compte qu'il ne marcherait plus jamais.

Passionné par les sports extrêmes, Jérôme a décidé de continuer à skier et de devenir un skieur assis.
En un an, il était de retour en montagne, faisant ce qu'il aimait le plus.

Dix-huit ans d'expérience en ski assis ont valu à Jerome une invitation officielle à participer aux Winter X-games à Aspen (Colorado).

Son rêve est de remporter la médaille d'or et d'être sur le podium du mono-ski cross.
Pour atteindre son rêve, il voyagera pendant 1 mois aux Etats-Unis, de la Californie à Las Vegas en passant par le Grand Canyon et au-delà. Rencontrez des athlètes paralympiques célèbres comme Alana Nichols, Erik Bayindirli et de nombreuses personnes extraordinaires qui font de leur handicap une force.

Jerome Elbrycht grew up in France enjoyed skateboarding and snowboarding until his accident in 1998, his life changed forever when he realized that he would never walk again. With a passion for extreme sports, Jerome decided to continue skiing and become a sit-skier. Within a year he was back on the mountain in the snow doing what he loved. Eighteen years of experience in sit-ski earned Jerome an official invitation to compete at the Winter X-games in Aspen (Colorado), his dream is to take the gold medal and be on the top of the podium in the sport of sit-skiing. To reach his dream he will travel for 2 months in the USA, from California through Las Vegas into the Grand Canyon and beyond. Meeting along the way famous paralympic athletes such as Alana Nichols, Erik Bayindirli, and many amazing people who make their disability a strength.
