QANTAS B787-9 QF255 Economy Class - Sydney to Singapore, Delayed Departure Handled Very Well (4K)

Instead of catching the regular A380 or A330 service to Singapore, given changes to flight schedules to Europe (mainly affecting flights via Perth) I opted to fly on the B787 service, which continued on to CDG, Paris.

Unfortunately departure was delayed by close to 1 hour, and the delay commenced after the aircraft boarding was complete (water sensor issue or something like that). Thankfully the Captain & First Officer kept us updated at regular intervals.

Once everything was sorted, we were on our way, and the good news was, with some favourable conditions, and a more direct flight path our arrival should be on time, or close to it.

Meals & Snacks offered were good, keeping in mind this was only a 7 hour flight.

Arrival in to Singapore presented some storm activity with Lightning, and landing ended up only being just over 10 minutes late.

Overall a good flight once in the air, great crew and even as a full flight, comfortable enough given I chose to fly economy.
