‘Fill our Shule’ Kabbalat Shabbat for Israel!

Last Friday we streamed out of our Shule early, as a result of external baseless hate. This Friday we streamed into our Shule, all 800+ of us, because of internal boundless love. There couldn’t have been a more powerful response to last week’s events than this.

We said ‘let’s fill our Shule’ and we did! We filled it and then some! We held space for ourselves and for each other and we raised the roof with a united voice of hope, faith and resolve!

It was unlike a Kabbalat Shabbat any of us had ever experienced before. A night we will not forget.

The ruach was explosive, the unity was life affirming, the prayer and song were soul awakening, the emotions ran free, it was healing, it was comforting, it was what we all needed.
