Mets top pitching prospect Jack Wenninger made his first start for Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, throwing 4.2 innings, allowing no runs and striking out five. Slugger Ryan Clifford also had a solid hit, and Jonathan Pintaro threw gas out of the bullpen.
