Emriver EmFlume: Hydraulic Flume Orientation and Operation

This video is an introduction to the Emriver Emflume 1. The Emflume1 is a turnkey desktop open channel flume for demonstrating fluid mechanics, river habitat hydraulics, and sediment transport. Its portability makes it easy to use in a lab or classroom setting. In this video, we point out the different controls, demonstrate setting the unit up, and outline basic operations. These include the digital controller, an insertable weir, and color-coded modeling media.
