HOW I MAKE MONEY FROM LUXURY

Buy & sell luxury good for profit. It is possible, you only have to look at the Hermes Birkin & Kelly to know that! But did you know that avoiding trend-pieces and buying the right classics can also turn a profit? Spend your hard-earned money wisely; if you want to buy (and enjoy) an item of luxe, and know that if you ever fancy a change or have a bill to pay, that you can get good money back out – check out my top 4 tips that I personally have always followed. Items discussed include Givenchy Antigona, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton & Dior. I’m not a professional expert, but I am an enthusiast that’s been doing this as a hobby for over 5 years – it can work if you’re savvy, enjoy! X

Platforms I sell on and can confirm work:

- ebay (though there are MANY fraudsters out there). Take photocopies of any receipts you include, take photos of serial numbers, AVOID selling to new accounts with low feedback history, program your ebay so that buyers with ‘Non-payment Stikes’ can’t bid, ALWAYS send by recorded mail, ALWAYS send to a “confirmed” name and address (you can use this for Court action if anything untowards happens [e.g. Chargebacks] !) You generally get more money and more confidence from buyers if you include the receipt in purchase, and upload a photo of it to the listing.
- Vestiere Collective (they charge high fees, which I try and cover by increasing my asking price). Benefit to V.C is that if you know your item is authentic but you don’t have the receipt, generally, buyers feel more confident buying due to the verification process). Also, buyers can take the finance packages available through V.C, which I find opens the market to those who might not be able to stump-up the total sum in one go.
