WHY IS NO ONE USING LAPU-LAPU? USE HIM NOW BEFORE EVERYONE REALIZES HE IS GOOD - MLBB

So I've been spamming Lapu-lapu in ranked games but I can't seem to find other players using him.
Am I the only one who thinks he is powerful?
I also checked the website and his pick rate is quite low.
He is 68th out of 100 heroes in terms of pick rate.
Even Layla is more popular than Lapu-lapu.

I understand that his first revamp was a bit underwhelming because of the limited range on his ultimate.
But they've changed that on the last update.
They increased the movement range of his ultimate, allowing him to chase those moving targets much easier.

Lapu-lapu is one of those heroes that can surprise you with his tankiness.
If he is in heavy blade stance, he gets up to plus 70 physical and magical defense.
Aside from that, he also gets 15% damage reduction for each hero that is hit with his 2nd skill.
The combination of defense stats and damage reduction is a tank's dream come true.
I was initially surprised how tanky he can be if he activates his ultimate and his 2nd skill.
He can jump right in the middle of a clash and still come out alive.

Anyway, I've been playing him lately in rank and this is the build that I use.
I only have 2 damage items because it's enough to kill those squishy heroes with one combo.
I also alternate damage and defense so that he doesn't get burst down easily.
