What are the Various Project Life Cycles?

There are 5 types of project life cycles per the 6th edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge or PMBOK. This quick whiteboard animation illustrates and discusses these life cycle types. The project lifecycles are:
Predictive
Incremental
Iterative
Adaptive
Hybrid

Your project can have any one of these as its project life cycle type. For those preparing for the PMP certification exam, it is imperative that you know these various project lifecycle types.
