Ashura procession in New Delhi

On Ashura day Muslims mourn the death of Hussain Ibn Ali, grandson of Prophet Muhammad, who was killed at the battle of Karbala in the 7th century. Orthodox Shia in some parts of the world commemorate Ashura with self-flagellation as an act of mourning. This is a part of the procession comemorating the event in New Delhi, India.
