Why iPad Pro 2018 is Still My Favorite iPad in Early 2021

I have owned the iPad Pro 3rd Gen (2018) since it came out in November of 2018. I have used it nearly every day since and it is still my favorite iPad... even in late 2020.

I have bought and returned both the 2020 iPad Pro and the 2020 iPad Air. Both directly compete with this 11-inch iPad Pro from 2018. However, I didn't feel like either was enough of an upgrade to justify the cost.

In my opinion, the 2018 iPad Pro is still a great buy in late 2020 or early 2021. However, Apple may come out with a mini-LED model of the iPad Pro in Q1 of 2021 which may be worth the upgrade from this 3rd Gen iPad Pro.

To sum up, if you have the iPad Pro from 2018, don't waste your money upgrading just yet. And, if you want to buy it, buy it refurbished or gently used and save some money!
