Why Pop Smoke's Legacy Will Never Be Forgotten

The man, the myth, the legend Pop Smoke. At the time of his breakout single “Welcome to the Party '' Pop smoke was only 19 years old. A kid who definitely looked as if he was here lifetimes ago. As his age didn’t do him justice in terms of his looks, presence and demeanor. The raspy and deep voice that was uniquely different from what was hot at the time. But ironically still gave us remnants of 50 cent back in the early 2000s. Now Pop smoke cut through all of the smoke, like a sharp knife and made a name for himself within only months of him beginning to rap. Almost as if it was his God-given birthright for what was to come. And created a new excitement for the Drill scene, and his hometown, Brooklyn, New York.
Now there’s a few people in this world that really leave an impact, especially in music. Artists that transcend time and even death it seems, people still remember the Michael Jackson’s, Tupac & Biggie’s, and among the newer generation we remember the XXXTentacion’s as well as the Juice Wrld’s and finally the Pop Smoke’s. But what is that thing or the “it” factor so to speak that will have people remember you and cherish you even after you’re gone? And when talking about Pop Smoke in particular I think we can break this down into three parts.
