Scary Garage Damaged Concrete Marriott Harbor Beach, Like Surfside Collapse

In this video, your host Jeff Ostroff shows you first hand the concrete damage and water pooling he found in the parking garage structure beneath this high rise hotel while vacationing at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale last week. What you are seeing, and all the damage on the ceilings, and water leaks on the floors is typical of many high rise condos and hotels in South Florida with basement garages. Could this lead to the final collapse of the Marriott Hotel? This is similar to the alarming damage discovered by engineers in 2018 which likely was the root cause and failure of the Champlain Towers South Condo collapse on Jun 24, 2021.

One video we did frame by frame analysis on a video that was recorded in July 2020, a year before the collapse by a prospective buyer of unit 611 in the condo building, and searched the garage for the assigned parking space #17.
