Some Americans’ coronavirus stimulus checks are reportedly disappearing because their banks are pocketing the money. Some banks are putting customers’ deposits from the federal government toward negative balances in their accounts — leaving those unfortunate taxpayers with nothing, the New York Times reported Thursday.
