Why disc replacement surgery may not resolve pain and other issues

Ross Hauser, MD explains why it is increasingly common for patients with disc replacement to be seen in our office for ongoing pain and other issues. While surgery can work well for some people, there are others who still have symptoms, like headache and neck pain, and neurological issues. Even in cases where the surgery went well, instability can worsen and the symptoms can persist. In our offices, patients can see the level of cervical instability through Digital Motion X-ray which can then guide an appropriate treatment plan with Prolotherapy and cervical curve correction.
