River lure fishing- Chub on surface lures.

A nice river lure fishing session that started out fishing the Ned rig. Soon into the session several chub could be seen taking insects from the surface, so a quick change to surface lures (Salmo lil Bug) resulted in several Chub. Be adaptable with your lure fishing and be willing to change tactics. The change to surface lures certainly worked for the Chub on this occasion.
