This Time on Tristan Rail Productions We Take you back to the State of West Virginia! This Weekend on June 20th was the Anniversary of West Virginia becoming a state in 1863. So we take you back to the Cass Scenic Railroad for an Amazing Event which was called "A Parade of Steam"! Due to COVID-19 events and Trains have stopped, but Cass did this Amazing event!
Here we See Cass using 5 of its Operational Gearing Locomotives, Shays 4, 5, 2, and 11, and Recently Restored Climax 9, which was completed last fall. They all put on a Great show with series of Runbys, and Awesome Smoke shows! They even surprised us with a Quintuple Header with all 5 Locomotives (In Next Video!), and what a Sight is was to see!
Along the way I spent time with Great People and Friends which made this Trip even more Exciting, and I was glad to see this.
Cass WV is an Old Logging Town, and the Railroad built the Town, which was founded in 1901. The Scenic Railroad became a Tourist attraction in 1963, After the Logging industry Shutdown, and was Made a National Park Afterwards, and is now a Tourist Destination, for People all around!
