The finale to the farewell concert of the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus concert prior to their historic return to Ukraine just months before Ukraine proclaimed their independence from the Soviet Union. The concert was directed by Volodymyr Kolesnyk, who was the former director of the Kyiv Opera and defected to the west It ends with the (banned by the USSR) Ukrainian National Anthem. June, 1991.
