How I Became an Astronaut- and How You Can Too | Drew Morgan | TEDxYouth@BriarWoodsHS
Many children dream of becoming an Astronaut, Surgeon, Pilot, Diver, or Engineer. Drew Morgan is all five of those things- a NASA Astronaut, rated flight surgeon, T-38 supersonic jet pilot, special operations diver, and environmental engineer. In his talk, Drew details how he became an astronaut- and how you can too.
Dr. Andrew "Drew" Morgan most recently served as flight engineer on the International Space Station for Expedition 60, 61 and 62. He is an emergency physician in the U.S. Army with sub-specialty certification in primary care sports medicine and a graduate of both the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD and the US Military Academy at West Point, where he won the Collegiate National Title in competitive skydiving.
