Pino Masi - Ballata Di Pinelli [Single]

Promotional 7" single released in 1970 with issue 3-11 of the bi-weekly newspaper of Lotta Continua, an Italian militant left-wing autonomist communist organization that operated from 1969 to 1976 . The single was re-issued in 1971.

The first song was written to commemorate Italian labor unionist and anarchist activist Giuseppe Pinelli, who died while in police custody in 1969. The other songs are about the series of auto factory strikes that took place from 1968-1970 in Turin, Italy.
