Rees-Mogg savages Jeremy Corbyn as he storms off from Commons seat: 'Running away from election!'

Labour opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn stood up to leave the Commons just as Jacob Rees-Mogg accused him of running away after Boris Johnson said he will give MPs more time to debate his Brexit deal if they agree to an election.

Leader of the Commons Mr Rees-Mogg said the Government will table a motion in the Commons calling for a general election on Monday.

But he couldn't help taking a swipe at the Labour leader as he noticed him getting up to leave after his announcement. Mr Rees-Mogg said: "Earlier today I was actually praising Mr Corbyn and today I am able to quote him, because his words are words of wisdom.
