Decided to do a review video showing you guys my 7.3 L powerstroke diesel and the pros and cons that come with owning an older diesel.

Pros
-Reliability of the 7.3 L has never left me stranded
-Dirtier emissions but cleaner engine does have all the tech that restricts emissions and causing soot build up.
-Durable never had to mess with the engine.

Cons
- Low fuel mileage making it ver y expensive to fill up the 7.3 l diesel at the pump.
- Very slow I don't recommend trying to race this truck.
- Very hard cold starts in colder weather.

Factory parts on this 7.3 L powertroke
-7.3 L powerstroke engine still original motor with 455k miles on it.
-Transmission still original 6 speed transmission.
-drive shaft and linkage.

For those of you who don't know my truck is a 2000 7.3 l ford f-250 super duty diesel it puts out about 400 horsepower which for the engine size and truck weight is about average. My truck has 455,000 miles on it and is by far the most reliable truck that ford has made. I am going to make a 6.7 Powerstroke vs a 7.3 l Powerstroke just to show you guys the difference. The 6.7 Powerstrokes run very clean almost to clean this is why they have a lot of emission issues and why you have to spend the extra money on DEF. On the other hand 7.3 L diesels don't run as clean meaning that the truck is able to get rid of all the unwanted emissions and keep the engine cleaner and healthier!
