2026 Rabat Open | Petra Marcinko v. Jessica Bouzas Maneiro | WTA QF Highlights

Petra Marčinko continued her breakout week at the 2026 Rabat Open by defeating second seed Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinals to reach the first WTA semifinal of her career.
The 20-year-old Croatian played aggressive, confident tennis throughout the match, controlling many of the longer rallies with powerful groundstrokes and sharp returning. Bouzas Maneiro, one of the highest-ranked players left in the draw, struggled to consistently handle Marčinko’s pace and pressure from the baseline.
Marčinko took the opening set with an early break and maintained momentum in the second, staying composed during late pressure moments to close out the straight-sets win. The victory capped another impressive clay-court performance from the former junior No. 1 and set up a semifinal clash with Jil Teichmann.
