Abbot Cyprian (Yashchenko) had previously given permission for the rebroadcast of this documentary series.
The 1st film is dedicated to the beginning of the earthly life of Elder Paisios – his birth in the village of Faros in Turkey, his Baptism by the monastic Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian (1840–1924), his childhood and youth in the hills of Konitsa, his service in the Army during the Civil War (1946-49).
This has been uploaded before but as one long video of all the episodes together.
