Bobbysocks - Waiting for the Morning (Live at "Spellemannprisen", 1986)

The "Spellemannprisen" (known as the "Norwegian Grammys"), is a ceremony held every year since 1973, and it's prizes are given to norwegian artists and authors for their contribution to the music.

For the 1986 edition, Bobbysocks performed for the very first time their brand new single "Waiting for the Morning", released at the begining of that year, topping the norwegian and icelandic charts. The single was also pressed in several other european countries. The song has an "in crescendo" structure, finishing with a powerful 3rd chorus.

Universal Music released in May 2010, the duo's long awaited "Best of" compilation, which includes 2 newly recorded songs. Bobbysocks did a short comeback to promote it during all the whole month, doing some mini concerts and tv/radio interviews and appearances Currently it can be ordered from Norilds.no (worldwide), CDON.eu (Europe) and Platekompaniet (Norway)
